Oh well I can't think of an overall best game of all time so I'll sort them by console (only the ones I have owned):
PS: Metal Gear Solid N64: Conker Bad Fur Day or Banjo Kazooie PS2: hmm this one is hard, Metal Gear Solid 3, ICO, Shadow of the Colossus or Okami. Xbox 360: Lost Odyssey or Blue Dragon. PS3: Metal Gear Solid 4. Wii: No More Heroes.
I have a lot of loved games but i must say...The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Final Fantasy VII & Metal Gear Solid 4 gave me the best experiences while playing. On the other hand, me and my buddies get together once in a while (like once every 3 months) to have a 'Halo' night, where we play 4 on 4, on two different HD tv's...in two different rooms. Trust me, it's complete chaos and it's so much god damn fun. That's the multiplayer aspect of 'the best game of all time'. Oh and i really really loved Final Fantasy X as well.
