I think it should Snake, but they'd probably pick Sackboy

right now it's a big tie between sackboy in snake imo. but snake has the edge ofcorse., no challenge.

As much as I dislike LittleBigPlanet I do think that Sackboy should be the 'face' of the PS3 because he is cute and funny looking in a good way.

I think it should be Snake, for obvious reasons. Sackboy, on the other hand, is more PR-friendly. :P

even though snake is awesome, he has not been exclusive to Sony. He has appeared on XBOX and Nintendo systems. So the best one out of all of them would have to be Kratos. God of War sells Systems!!!!

MGS4 was a big game and all that blah blah blah I think Snake would be the best choice for the face of the PS3, but the fact that Snake's story has come to an end, I think it'd be better to use the game that still has another game in it which would mean SackBoy

though I voted Snake because I perfer him. But Sackboy is a family friendly icon which seems to be all the rage amongst Soccer Moms... /facepalm and I'm sure Sony will choose Sackboy because look at him! HE'S F****** ADORABLE and LittleBigPlanet is great game (despite the controls not being the greatest)

eh.. forget it... Old Snake would be the best choice for Sony's icon because the series has come a long way and went out with the biggest bang of a franchise I'd say.

oh yeah. A problem with Sackboy, is he has no real apperance being as he's so customizable (many possible outfits and what not.). Though that could be used as an advatage for advertising I guess...?

it really is snake but sony are trying to make it sackboy so parents are cuted up to the idea of buying their sweet little ones a nice wittle pwaystation cos of the nice wittle characters

Sack Boy. You can make him/her appeal to all ages and genders, it's adorable, and you can make it look like any character. It's a universal mascot I think.

let's say other and put my face there...your face there...the entire PS3 community's face there. We are the driving force with the PS3. It's true that systems have used mascots in the past, but it's the present and were heading into the future. so maybe we all deserve to be the face of the PS3. Just a thought
