Should I get the Prince of Persia games (the two more recent series not the old one)? I have recently enjoyed playing InFamous, Assassin's Creed, and Assassin's Creed 2 and I'm planing on getting Dragon Age Origins, Fallout 3, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and Assassin's Creed Bloodlines. From what I play does it sound like I would enjoy those two series?

Personally, I really liked the new one. I played Sands of Time first, and that's definitely a great game. The new one is different in that it's a lot more guided. All your jumps and acrobatics are based on timing rather than perfecting your position and jumps and stuff. I thought the art style, music and interactions between the characters were top notch. The ending was great too. I'd say check out some reviews and see if you think you'd like it.

I agree, I havnt beaten the newest one yet but thats just because other great games have held me off from finally finishing it. The platforming is fun, the combat is different and interesting compared to other games, and I love the art direction. Also the new one is only like 20 bucks now, so I would definitely scoop it up.

I have only played the newest one and absolutely loved it. I was a little frustrated with the ending though...

The old ones is a lot better than the new one, especially in the difficulty.

I have played all the Prince of Persia (except PoP 3d) and I can tell you this, the first ones were great and pretty challenging if you ask me, especially with the time limit of one hour (can't remember the time limit on the second one). As for the Sands of Time trilogy, if you like the persian theme then I suggest you stick with the first and third one. Warrior Within is better in a way thanks to the combat but the music and the prince aren't likeable at all but it shows how the prince has changed from the first game to the second game but if you forget about that, you should get the three games of the Sands of Time trilogy. As for Prince of Persia 2008, the art design is fantastic, great. The music is also great and the interactions between the Prince and Elika is also something that you will never forget. Sadly, the game is quite short and it is pretty easy but still a great game. Oh yeah I forgot, in the Sands of Time trilogy you can manipulate the time, and in the new one, Elika is the one that helps you not fall to the death or jump farther.

Can't you buy some of the older prince of persia games on PSN? Do you know which ones?

PoP is my favourite game of last year, graphics are awesome, sound and music are so good it makes you be in another world. It doesn't have the Assassin's creed "seriousness" it's light and hopeful, there is challenge at times if you're not a pro of platforming.

The Sands of Time trilogy is a fantastic set of games. TSoT is one of my favourite games of the last gen, and Warrior Within and The Two Thrones, while lacking some of the initial game's magic, were both great in their own right. Last year's reboot was good too, just not on the same level as that trilogy.

Get the trilogy for the PS2. The new one is ok, but the story is a bit meh except the end. It is a bit annoying that after you return an area back to light, you have to redo everything you just did in order to collect orbs. I would rent the new prince of persia, but I would not buy it unless you found it for like 20 dollars or lower.
