hey i am gonna be buying a ps3 game and its between prince of persia and cod world at war...idk which one to get. They are both in different genres so its impossible to compare them. But what are your opinions on both games? thanks
Ive had enough of the shooter genre until feburary... i mean i enjoy it, and i still play resistance and socom and dead space, but i cant wait for a honest to god platformer like PoP...
not to mention, the game is absolutely BEAUTIFUL.. cant wait to see it on my big screen!Â

reviews are saying its a very short game, you should rent it.
i kinda got tired of play COD because its the same thing over and over again. PoP is a fresh game, new look to it and everything. I would get PoP and ignore COD
There are lots of shooters out recently, so I'd go with Prince of Persia. Oozes style, refreshing change of pace, I'm picking it up day 1 for sure.jamesmck486
Agreed here. There are enough shooters that have come out recently and I just don't care for another one from WWII. Prince of Persia looks better because its from a genre that doesn't have many great games now days so go for it. I just don't see why ppl are considering buying CoD:WaW with the other shooters on the market and other great must haves like LBP and Motorstorm 2.
Well for me its Prince of Persia all the way because it looks amazing and I am a huge action adventure fan. To be honest I am sick of shooters as well.
Do yourself a favor and get PoP. Sure, its short, but you can try to get 100% of the game and experience a platformer. IF you really need something to hold you over for a while, pick up Pop and Resistance 2 (and FPS). Personally, the market is oversaturated with FPSs. Only a few (like R2, COD4, not COD WaW, and Killzone 2) look to be interesting. A new platformer that is fun enough to rush through yet refreshing enough to replay is definitly something this gen needs, even if its for 60 bucks (if you can shell that much out, its worth your time). Alternatively, you could get Valkyria Chronciles, which is becoming increasingly rare yet is an awesome strategy-rpg-third person game mixed into one.
