Problem converting videos to PS3 format

I use mkv2vob to convert mkv files so I can put them on a hd then play them on my ps3. The problem is a lot of videos will get cut off, something will go wrong with them so it is not the full video when it's done. I don't know what to do I've tried converting them into different formats and playing with the settings but it will always mess up converting a 40 minute video to 13 minutes etc.

pretty much any video can be played on theps3 all you have to do is hit triangle and show all i believe something like that the go through the files tll you see your vid

lol no true because i do it dont even worry about reformatting it i do it with my ps3 all the time....
