No. Jackman would not be a good fit. And I don't see him wanting to get into another role that is going to further type cast him and leave him locked into doing a bunch of sequels with the same char. several times. I think the best way is to go find someone new, and lock them into a 3 picture deal. That way when the movie sucks, you only ruined a nobody's career and not an established celeb. And if it works out... grats!

I'm not a fan of Jackman. He doesn't have much emotional range. He always acts like he's acting, not really "being" a character. But with anything in hollywood, acting and story don't matter a bit - just a bunch of CGI explosions. That way you make a moderate profit and the movie is totally forgotten in about 2 weeks. That's why I'm much more interested in games than movies.

Jeez, these producers never even looked at the Uncharted voice actor list? Nolan North(Nate's voice actor and motion capture actor) would be perfect for the movie. He looks like Drake and is the damn voice actor!

I think Heath Ledger could pull it off. He was great in Dark Knight as the Joker.

He's just shortchangeing himself. I guess he knows the chance of him being the star is near zilch so its better to root for someone else rather than root for yourself when you know it won't happen.

I notice people seem to be assuming this movie will be based of the game. That just doesnt happen. Think Tomb Raider, or resident evil, those movies are nothing like the games they are based on.

Yeah I was joking about Heath. But seriously... I think its a 4 way tie for the best Joker. Heath had his own character to fit the movie and he nailed it, Jack did the same thing, and Mark Hamill isn't only the joker in Batman: AA, he also did the voice for the cartoon movie Batman Mask of the Phantasm (which was a pretty good movie btw) and he is an awesome, awesome Joker. And finally, Ceasar Romero from the campy tv show. He played Joker perfectly. The show is what it is, but he was an awesome Joker (complete with facepaint overtop his mustache cuz he refused to shave it).

I really like Hugh Jackman. Great actor in my opinion. But I don't think it would fit.

Colin Ferrell has the looks, but I don't like him as an actor.

I don't like that combination too much. I've always thought either Nathan Fillion or Brendan Fraser would make great Nathan Drake's. How does everyone else feel about Jackman taking on the role?

I know what we all can agree on though. All three of those actors are too damn old to be playing a character thats supposed to be in his ealry to mid 20's. They are all almost old enough to be Drake's father!!!! lol.

I checked out IMDB and every single character in the game is modeled off their voice actors. I thought that was quite a coincidence. Maybe they should give the parts to the actors that already know how to play the partsand look like the characters instead of giving the parts to all the crappy overrated actors you guys have suggested.

I, like many of the fans since the original game, definitely agree with you on this. The problem is, that's just not how Hollywood works. Sure, fans of the game would go see it with the voice actors in it, but what would the public think? "Who the hell is Nolan North?" is what they'll say. None of us wants to see this franchise get tainted, but even Nolan North himself said he knew he wouldn't get the part just because that's not how Hollywood works.

Now, we just doing it like we in an election. We're just trying to pick the lesser evil. :?

Hugh Jackman is an excellent actor, but casting him for Nathan Drake? Not thanks.

Gerard Butler. Sure the looks aren't exact, but he is a great actor and I think he can pull off the role.

Edward Norton is one of my favorite actors. Fight Club and American History X are 2 of my favorite movies of all time. Still, I really can't see him in the role. Like Jackman, I don't think he's incapable of doing it.

Hell, if we're gonna throw big names out there, while we're on the subject of Edward Norton: Brad Pitt. Think of his look earlier in Fight Club. It could work.;)
