PS1 games run on a 40GB PS3, right?

We want to go back because there are some great games out there that many people have never been able to play. Would you say the old Final Fantasy's are not worth playing? Classic Twisted Metal, etc.

im sure its more than 85%. But i cant c why any1 wud want 2 go bak 2 gens.... i dont even bother wit ps2 games n e more.Blaiyze1

There are still a number of great older games that are worth playing, whether they're ones you've never picked up before, or just replaying classics. I still play some of my older PS1 RPGs once and awhile (like Xenogears, my second favorite RPG of all time).

Definitely, there are tons of fantastic PS1 games!

I'll name you just a few you should play:

Final Fantasy VII

Final Fantasy IX

Parasite Eve II

Metal Gear Solid

Resident Evil 2

Xenogears

Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain

for the past 2 months the only games i have been playing on my ps3 were ps1 games, and I enjoyed them more than any ps3 game yet, well I did play gta4 3 days, but then went back to final fantasy 1, lunar silver star, chrono cross, and getal gear solid.

I wanted to make sure I it could play PS1 games (especialy FFVII) so if it didn't I could get a 80GB and play them on my PSP with Remote-Play.

60GBs and 40GBs are supposed to play all games for PS1/2/3

Whereas the 40GBs not supposed to play PS2 games but PS1 and PS3 games,

and the 80GB is supposed to run PS2 games poorly, but Ps1/3 games fine from what I've gathered
