Yes I would. I have a 40gb model and for christ sake it has a PS2 internal memory card option in the menu!

seriously XBL has xbox games

i'd say $9.99 for stuff like jak and daxter, sly cooper, and $14.99 for the MGS 3s, Ratchet and Clanks, God of Wars

I mean the PS3 was made with downloadable content in mind

BTW doesn't anyone think reintroducing the 80gb with MGS 4 is kinda of weird? i mean why not make a 120 or 160 gb PS3?

i know costs, but some of you had to think this was going to happen.....

No, they are re-releasing the 80GB PS3 which after the recent update is at about 88% PS2 BC

Time and money constraints involved with making an entirely new model instead of just using an already good model and putting it in a new bundle.

I would want PS2 games on PSN but imagine downloading 2 - 9GB per game.

waste of HDD space

Your 40GB would be swallowed like a Big Mac at a Fat camp

That is why Sony recommends getting an external HDD.

well they will have had 6 months by the time MGS comes out.

and you know, why bother taking the 80gb off shelves for 6 months losing sales if its so easy to put it out there.

and if they just cut costs of the ps3 to like $300-$400 why not? i mean, cmon!

if they released a 160gb with MGS 4 i'd trade in my 40gb for it. 80 gb doesn't seem like enough with downloads like socom, warhawk, and all the other good PSN games like Pixel Junk monsters

That's why they made it so easy for you to upgrade your HDD.
