I have a question.... Is Ps3 free region?? or at least for PS2 games??(well, I ask because I want to play KHII Final Mix when it's released on Japan)

PS 3 games are region free but not the ps1 nor the ps2. The ps1 and PS2 games are still region locked.

i know ps3 games are region free and i am sure the blu ray has a lot to do with that, i am gonna say ps2 games are not region free on the ps3 but i am not absolutely sure

i wanna say no. The PS3 is actually region locked like any BluRay player, and BluRay movies are locked, therefore region locked games probably won't work on an out-of-region player. But look on the bright side, the US will now be able to play every game released in Japan for the PS3. this is so nice.
