PS3 Backwards Compatible List UPDATE

GT4 does not work and GTA:SA works with 'noticeable issues' :(

Not a bad list at all. much better than the 'other' next gen console company! Who have a very long list of games that just dont work at all! Which p*ssed me right off! I just wonder what 'Noticeable Issues' are or mean?? Still I check the list against my games all 90% of them are fine! As opposed to the 5 out of 25 games I had for the 'Other' next gen console.Sycosi

Final Fantasy X has major issues
Final Fantasy XII has minor issues
Final Fantasy X-2 has Major Issues
Metal Gear Solid 3 Has Major Issues
Metal Gear Solid 2 not even mentioned

oh well, at least they are playable I guess.

Bit of a c**t that Final Fantasy XII has issues playing and that MGS2 and Guitar Hero 1/2 don't work at all. What the hell am i supposed to use my PS3 for this friday!?neoreloaded

No where on the site does it state that a game has *MAJOR* issues. The ratings go from 1)no known issuses to date to 2)minor issues to 3)noticable issuses.

 when the suggestion to help with the noticable issues is to skip all the FMV's, its a major issue

Well it says.. "You should skip optional FMV sequences (a small number of games have graphical corruption in one or more video sequences)".

Doesnt say that the FMVs WONT play just that it wont look pretty. All im pointing out is that sayin it has MAJOR issuses can be mis information.

so graphical corruption isn't a major issue to you.

Gameplay owns graphics, but not corrupted graphics, they will just piss you off.

Which makes a game like MGS3 ,which exists out of 80 percent cut-scenes ,almost unplayable.....jolly good fun.Faller88
