Maybe wrong forum but what the heck, when I bought my PS3 it was extremely quiete but now the fans are really being loud. Is there anyway to fix this? Like vacuum the fans inside or something? Thanks!

Vaccuum it suck dust from inside out.. other than that I don't know.

No, don't open it. well, might be a good idea you can if you want you will see lots of dust.. you can suck em out from the out side vent areas.

Happens to mine some times. When I talked to Sony about it they said this is completely normal and not much to worry about. Just make sure it's in a well ventilated area.

If you still have your warranty then vacuuming it is really all you can do, but if your warranty has already expired then if you have the know how, take it apart and clean it. A lot of the dust that causes problems wont be removed just from vacuuming the vents, and never use that keyboard air duster stuff, as it just blows the dust deeper into the machine.

My PS3 is doing the same. The fan is going overdrive.The warranty is long gone, so I might crack it open and give it a good clean.
