PS3 Controller Problem. Help plz

I guess im not the first one...
but I wanted to know if someone can help me

The thing is that my controller doesnt work
I mean, the freakin PS button doesnt work
Im sure that the battery is fully charged!!
So I had to press it really really hard so it can turn on
but now, that doesnt even work!

I have taken care of it a lot! I dont know why does this happens!!
Is it a hardware problem?

Can someone plz help me?
