ps3 crashing sometimes..

Is it normal for a ps3 to crash when playing a game occasionally? It has happened to me a few times already, so i was just wondering if this could be a problem, although im quite sure its normal?

It's pretty normal, yeah, but most of the time it's the game's fault, so make note of what games you're playing, especially if they're Bethesda.

The last time it happened on midnight club when i was customizing a car, but im guessing it was a one off.

Oh yeah, that's definitely normal, especially if you've got a lot of different vinyl slots on it. The car customization can get pretty heavy in that game so it's always wise to save your car as you make progress.

Ahh right, cheers man, theres a hell of a lot of customizations that can be made in that game, so when i think about it, its not too suprising. How would you save as you progress? Dont u have to exit the garage, and then it will save? Thanks for the fast replies, +1 ;)

Is it only midnight club? or some other games too?

It has done it on another game before, but its not something that happens regularly

Yeah, just exit and re-enter. It's a bit tedious, but it'll save you a lot of time and frustration in the long run.

Bethesda games eh?

I suppose that's why it crashed on me two times yesterday as I was starting Fallout 3...glad to hear it's a known issue

You get an occasional crash. Its like a computer. Nothing to worry about.

it did it again guys! I was just playing on it, and after a few hours it crashed again. I believe its the game itself, because I have looked it up and it seems quite a lot of people experience it...Its a shame because its a great game, but if it keeps crashing im worried it might screw up my ps3 :(
