lol its kind of weird how the top 3 titles on gamespot for ps3 are all old. ninja gaiden rainbow six and oblivion are all old. sigma is new kinda with its added features and same with oblivion and rainbow six but all of them have alreasdy been playable last year and ninja gaiden for about 2 years now. they are all still great games for the ps3 and some other ones for ps3 are really good. Virtua fighter 5 comes to mind(it should be the highest rated game on ps3 imo). i can't wait till next year when the real games start pouring in. anyways the point of this post is that i really think gs should cut some slack and review the games as if they arn't for a 600 dollar gaming machine. sure the system is supposedly more powerful than the 360 but it should be judged based on if the graphics are good. the frame rate problems mentioned in all their reviews are usually wrong from my experiences.

i think those games got good scores becuase they were already good just kind of improved to a point for the ps3 but i do think resistance and motorstorm deserved higher scores perfect dark zero got a 9.0 from game spot on xbox and resistance was a much better game so still trying to figure that one out

i dont think resistance deserved a higher score but i do think perfect dark deserved a lower one. the only reason i think gamespot gave it that score was because they didn't know what to expect for next generation and at the time it seemed right to give it that score. by the time graw and oblivion came out they knew they were wrong. they can't just change their scores but they did admit they rated it wrong.
