Well I certainly am suprised, some intelligent posters. I suppose that would make sense. Some people get a superiority complex pertaining to something they own (I.E. the 360)and they think its the right one. Its like the concept of cultural superiority where one thinks their own culture/country is always infallible. I guess thats why I'm so pissed about the CNN thing, people will see what they say and acept it as fact not bothering to dig for the bigger picture.

Sigh, dont let this get to you. PS3 is an awesome console, how gives a sh*t what some ignorant mases say? Either way, 360 has shipped 24.86M, and PS3 17.88M (Info from VGchartz) Consider that facts that the xbox came a whole year later without competition, and the price is much lower than that of a PS3

As I am seeing things, PS3 is slowly getting back at the 360, and I firmly belive that in the end of this crazy race, PS3 will surge out 2nd (Yeah, there is no way PS3 is catching up to the Wii). Anyhow my point is, dont worry, they will eat their words later on;)

the reason why they hate the PS3 is because its a big threat to the one that they got... also, they don't wanna accept the fact that PS3 exclusives are graet as well, coz the sad part is that they can play it cozthey don't have a PS3 and don't have enough budget to get a another console... sounds like sour graping. look at the comments of other system holders, its a lot more harsh than those who are lucky and got both/all systems.taplok

its all about popularity..comparison: xbox 360...more ppl buy it, reasons

1- 1 year earlier productions...result malfunfctions still happening today, how many times have i heard in the past month, o i cant play gears cuz i sended my xbox to micrsoft cuz i overplayed it, 16 hrs straight...

2- way cheaper, even @ $hitty $199 price, beats wii, but not really, ppl still buy it, and really u pay for wat u get...u pay a $hitty price u get a $hityy console, look that version cant even get NXE

3- since it came out earlier more fans, ppl have it, more games were published 4 it, and the publishers got used to their dvd format easier/faster, when they get used to the blu ray, and how it can hold up way more space, xbox would be cryin and copyin their idea, ie everyone copies each other, it just depends if u step it up a notch, well yeah ps3 is down kno, i really dont care but it does get annoyin, so for everyone who owns a box, and the other a staion, just play ur box and we'll play our station...lol

Ok, I have seen just about enough of this that I had to speak. CNN, fanboys jumping on the bandwagon just to say the PS3 sucks. This is such a joke. The PS3 has sold 14+ million units in its first 2 years. This is more than the Xbox can say for itself. Yes I can say in this economic environment the PS3 will sell less but, heck, with 14 million users the player base is strong enough that all the hate is unwarranted. Sadly I still think the holiday season will be a weak time for the PS3 but, guess what (and I say this for everyone who owns a PS3) WE ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE!LatusItani

I don't know, I guess I like owning the "underdog" system. (Viva la Dreamcast!!)

It's not like there's any chance of Sony saying "screw it, we're done with the PS3". I'm content in the knowledge that I own the best, most powerful videogame system ever.

Next year may just be the PS3's saving grace. Heavy Rain, inFamous, God of War 3, and Killzone 2 are just some of the exclusives scheduled for '09.
