I arrived at EBgames yesterday hoping to purchase a horizontal light stand for my PS3 and near the end of our conversation he told me the horizontal light stand only works for the 'old' generation PS3's and not for the 80GB because the fans changed sides and which is what I have. He also mentioned many customers complained that it doesn't work with the new one. Is most of it true? Given the fact that the horizontal light was never made or restocked after the official PS3 launch date.
Vertical stand you mean I guess. Well I own a 060 GB and never used a stand with it. And I really don't understan why would you even get one. It will take one of your USB slots and in the 80 gig model you only have 2. So never bother with the vertical stand my opinion. I have no idea about the difference of measurements or size between the models. You are better of without the stand believe me.
