Are you really asking this question?....And above all why would anybody want to try this out.Who knows how long you would have to leave a PS3 on before it just up and died.

It's not what you can actually do anyways so don't worry about it. Unless you can leave that thing untouched and powered on for months while you see your hydro bill go through the roof.

theoretically it would take months... no one has really tried it... it may overheat and just shut off.. but its just so random.. A buddy of mine left his F@H for 6 weeks while he was on vacation... i went and checked on it 2 or 3 times and it was fine...

well i had it or used to have it on for months without turning it off, maybe 3 weeks max before i gave it alil break? then another 3 weeks, 24hrs a day, and thats when i wasnt playing! when i do and im tired i want to go walk my dog or go out or do w.e i used to put it on folding. i honestly never cared if it was off or on that much until i saw my electric bill lol. now not so much because well here in nyc the electric bill has risen through the roof, so me leavin it on kinda screwed me alil but i learned my lesson lol. but it doesnt really harm ur ps3 if u keep it well ventilated and clean it and dust it off, but u never know though, its an electronic, its bound to break sometime in its life span
