How does the PS3 look on a SDTV? I'm asking because I just ordered today a new 46"Inch Sony Bravia LCD HDTV 1080P and I haven't hooked up my new PS3 yet that I got earlier this week because I wanna wait for the TV?

The Playstation 3 will make any TV look good. Try it on your SDTV. Get the hang of it. Once you get your Sony Bravia, you'll be absolutely amazed at the quality difference. I used to play on a 21" Panasonic SDTV (tube ones), and now i have a 32" LG 32LB4D 720p, 120 HZ (the fastest refresh rate out today, excellent for gaming) LCD TV. The difference was overwhelming. I ordered an HDMI cable to see the true difference, i would recommend getting one with your tv, or just get one at a great price at www.monoprice.com

Because if you had a choice of either play now and get an HDTV later or just wait, why the hell would you torture yourself waiting when it still looks good now?

Okay but what are the major differences between SDTV & HDTV? And will the cable that came with the PS3 (AVI Cable) work on a SDTV? By the way I already bought a HDMI cable for the HDTV.

I would say to play right now because you got the PS3 you might as well use it. Besides it will only make you glad you bought the TV once you compare them.

...What?

You either play a squished game, or with black bars.

I've got auto motion plus which clocks at 120Hz which makes games run very, very smooth.

I'd agree on the text being a little blurry.

It looks great on my 27 inch SDTV. But I hope if everything goes according to plan, I'll have my HDTV towards the end of the year.

Ya that's what I'll do I'll just wait for my HDTV,but it could be 4 to 6 weeks for it to arrive.I placed an order with Rent-A-Center for a new one, because my credit is really bad to get it on credit anywhere else.

i play on a 27-30" (not too sure) SDTV and i always have, i've played thought lots of games and had a great experience. I know that an HDTV would have a better experience, but i still had a good one, and if you dont get an HDTV thats like 47-50" its not worth it, my friend has an HDTV that is like 30" and he cant tell the difference :?

Wow, I just got my 22" monitor and it looks loads better than my 26" SDTV. It even has an HDMI port so I don't have to use a DVI-HDMI cable. Also it was only $200 .
