PS3 online college dorm

so yea when i got to college i was hoping i could still do some online gaming once in a while, but the school blocks them

BUT, there is somehow a way around it

i have theCisco Clean Access Agentat my school

i think there is someway to hook up ur ps3 to ur macbook and use it as internet but idk

if anyone could help me it would be greatlyappreciated.

I bought a USB-NIC adaptor and ran a crossover cable from my laptop to the PS3. Used Windows Internet Sharing to share the connection between the built in ethernet and the USBNIC. It was plenty fast too. Got >1MB/s DLing from PSN.

when i gave them my mac adress for my ps3 it did'nt work but for some reason the mac adress for my laptop worked fine am i doing something wrongjrock258

If you do it the way I did, you don't need to give them the MAC address. At least, I didn't have to.
