lol, this thread is so funny. anyways, if your audio works but you video doesnt you prolly have a faulty cable(dunno whats its called but its the cable with the yellow red and white things on it). if your 360 was dead, it wouldnt work at all. so eb games prolly would take it.

That's what I did when my 360 died the 2nd time. I bought an old Xbox 1 just in case my PS3 died, and it turned out to be a smart investment, because my PS3's blu ray pooped out a couple weeks ago. Im getting it back next tuesday though!!!

Yes and no for me. All the games I regularly play on my Xbox 360 are all on the PS3 (CoD4, GTAIV, Eternal Sonata, and the Orange Box). The only games that remotely interest me on the 360 are Tales of Vesperia and Lost Odyssey. The only reason I still have my Xbox is because all my friends have it and we get on Live together. If I really wanted to, I could just sell my Xbox and replace the games by getting them for the PS3. I like my 360 and all, but right now, PS3 is much better game-wise in my opinion.
The only reason I said no is because I'm a Nintendo man at heart, and couldn't be without my Wii. If I only had a PS3 and Wii, I wouldn't really mind.

I originally owned an Xbox 360 then when it got RROD I sold it to a friend who shipped it in, went out and bought a PS3 and have never looked back. It offers just as much as the 360 and its software will expand in the coming years. Upgrade your harddrive to store more movies, music, pictures and its a sweet deal.

same here, but i jsut bought a 360 yesterday and returned it today, found it it didn't have wireless so no online for me, and overall it just felt like a downgraded system that can only play games compared to alll the stuff the ps3 has, all my opinion though :?
yes the ps3 makes a great only system and if thats the only one i had i would still be very happy.I do have a wii but i feel i could live with out it.the ps3 has tons of great games out now and from what i have seen there is a fairly constant stream of great games.Only game one 360 i feel like i am missing out on is the GoW games. and only games i would feel like i missed out on on the wii would be mario gallexy and metriod prime 3 both of wich were great.
