well if u read the comments, one of the guys makes a valid point. Sony wont ask for ur account info, besides they dont need it. they already have it, so obviously the poor dude who claims to have gotten the invite wass fooled...
It's as fake as it can possibly be- Sony would not ask for account details. They have the e-mail addresses of all PS3 users already, they would just need to ask "want in", give you an accept link and they could make the arrangements without any additional info from you.
And if its an open beta, why do they need to send out invitations in the first place.
This is nothing more than a scam by someone to get others info.
A reminder to everyone out there dumb enough to do so, DO NOT give your account information to random emails or PSN messages. Sony already has that information and therefore would never ask you to provide it.
