ps3 quick help

when i was updating my ps3 i accidentally pressed cancel and it froze it says cancelling please wait. what should i do should i turn it off or leave it like that.

Do not turn it off till it done cancelling, otherwise you could brick your PS3

Well i think it won't turn off cuz i try doing something on the controller and nothing happens. Also what about if the yellow light turned off and its just the green light thats left that means its not using the hard drive anymore so it should be safe right?

Well if it seems safe to you, then go for it, just make sure you turn it off with the front button only and don't use the back switch, even if it takes a long time to turn off

Ok i turned it off and back on and everything looks ok. Thanks for the help
