ps3 really hot

So I just got my ps3 slim, played it for 2 hours and I notice the system was really hot and blew out really hot air is this normal?

are you serious? doesnt it suppose to blow out hot air?

I buy one this week too and I was suprise because I hear nothing while playing games...But yes my slim become hotter in 30 min than my 360 in 6 hours...Strange but should be normal

No, the hot air is supposed to stay inside, making it nice and cozy for all the little chips and cords inside :) ... until they all melt.

Of course the hot air is normal.

if the hot air is coming out it means the cooling system is doing its job you have nothing to worry about8)

depends where the hot air is coming from, usually on a hot woman, hot air from the rear end is usually not a good thingmonkeyd_93

Its normal, but if it really becomes a big deal for you, you could buy an intercooler.

its normal the ps3 is suppose to blow hot air..it will shut down if it overheats

Just put it in the freezer, that should cool it down.

Ye that should be normal, espescially after 2 hours of gaming... although I obviously dont know how hot your ps3 exactly gets but I think you shouldnt be worried :P When I've got my door shut and my windows closed, it can get pretty freakin hot in my room because of the heat my ps3 and tv produce, thats just normal. Though if you rly think it is way too hot, then I should consider sending it back or ask some1 who rly about these things.

But I think you dont have to worry about it, hot air is normal.

are u laying it down or standing it up? you should stand it up cus the hot air leaves it faster

My PS3 is pretty hot too. I dressed her up in a little skimpy dress too
