Well maybe Sony should be sticking their expensive lawyers on their patent case instead of making another court let them gain IP access to geohots website(yeah, they got access btw, Sony is allowed to see EVERY ip that visited the site).
I'm seriously on the virge of selling the thing, Sony is being real stupid right now.
If that does happen, Sony's gonna have no choice but to pay a settlement. Putting console sales on hold in one country is bad enough, two is even worse. Taking the console off the market permanently isn't something I see happening under any circumstances, so it's gonna either be pay up or back out. Wonder how much this would hurt them in the long run (assuming it does at all, of course).
I really don't see this happening... at all.. The worst that will happen is Sony settling out. They're not going to have their console taken off 2 massive markets.scar-hawkBasically this.

You have to believe that Sony is putting their lawyers on the patent case especially when their europe sales have been stalled. But why would you think about selling your PS3 and games because of a patent case between LG and Sony?

I think your missing the IP point. If you actually read that article, it doesn't say anything about holding up shipments of PS3's in America. It simply talks about it Federal Trade Commission looking into the claims of both companies. The whole "seizing shipments" thing is only mentioned as something that LG would like to do. It also says that if LG loses it's case, they'll have to pay Sony an "astonishing" amount of money for delaying shipments in the Netherlands.

I think your missing the IP point. yeah go ahead and sell itI would definitely love to see Sony crash and burn, but then again I can say the same for Nintendo. These are not the same companies I grew up withistuffedsunny
Why would you "love" to see Sony crash and burn? What did they do to you that you despise them besides make a great video game system and great games?
Silly Sony and their lawsuits. They started this one and I hate lawsuits so as bad as it sounds, I don't feel sorry for them.
