PS3 shooters HEADS UP!

lol killzone.

socom use to be the best game on ps they are first to put 32 players online but i think they failed with confrontation and before that they try to charge 1 $ to sign up just on leaderboards so why should we bother anymore about socom games ???????????

also i hate weapons how they make it so weak the thing is jumping up and down when you shoot it seems like only by luck you hit the target too much lagg hate corner kills etc .

killzone failed first time in mp why should they be good now you think they learned the lesson ? yeah right .

ressistance was ok online nothing special i hate those plasma gunz get real man put ak and m4a1 nothing else .

call of duty 4 if you aim with gun and you got enemy on sight it will go into autoaim mode this is stupid decision it makes it too easy for noobs no skillz at all .

and finnaly for all games :RUN and gun wtf man all you can see is people running into bullets and finishing enemy off with melee attack its stupid no cover no team work. boring boring boring fix this stupid games get more action and more realistic play nowwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 im waiting for 2 years to see soemthing good on this machine wasted hundreds of dollars for stupid gamesfix it !

my votes for KZ. he first one was ok, they fixed it up in the second and the next-gen sequal looks to be even better.

resistance is a close second, fun game

socom...meh. looks like crap to me, team based but no one ever works in teams online.

and warhawk just sucks. i bough 2 expansions and the DL version of the game and i regret it. even wih a huge group of friends and mics, not that fun.

games will never be "realistic" what kind of game are you looking for? a shooter that requires years of training before you start the games missions? and when you die you cant play the game again because the main character is dead! i mean c'mon wtf are you playin at? games are ment for fun to escape "reaslism" so you can shoot on a game so you dont have to go out and do it for real. games are lookin more life like but they will never be "real" as you you want. so you gonna have to keep waiting cuz games are there for fun.

Which one is going to keep the lead? Warhawk, Killzone, Resistance, or SOCOM?EliteCouncilor

KZ2 for me, but R2 is right behind it for now.

Short controlled bursts in SOCOM get kills, NOT holding down the trigger. I like SOCOM because its real and by far the best tactical shooter out there imo. It also takes skill.

Not trying to flame... but you're either a troll, or some other lesser species. Sounds like you should just stop gaming if you're going to set your standards on some future game that has not yet been made. Because based on past experiences, all of those games provide a very high caliber experience.

And do we think they learned their lesson on KZ2?! Have you SEEN the online for KZ2?! It would appear they learned their lesson and then some... the online may end up being the best this gen has seen... especially with the clan tournaments!

Hey I wanted to shoot my PS3 when that one system updated bricked My 80 Gig PS3. Thank goodness I the the 80 before I did my 60...

I think Warhawk will have a large following until the next game comes out just b/c of the type of game it is.... But the biggest competition b/w shooters will be Killzone & Resistance. I think Resistance 2 may be a bit better because of the scale included in all 3 modes... but Killzone 2's online is looking REALLY awesome when it comes to features (not to mention it's still the best looking game I've seen graphically... except for maybe Heavy Rain). And I think any shooter fan will have to have both. haze_blaze

I think Warhawk will have a large following until the next game comes out just b/c of the type of game it is.... But the biggest competition b/w shooters will be Killzone & Resistance. I think Resistance 2 may be a bit better because of the scale included in all 3 modes... but Killzone 2's online is looking REALLY awesome when it comes to features (not to mention it's still the best looking game I've seen graphically... except for maybe Heavy Rain). And I think any shooter fan will have to have both. haze_blaze

What made warhawk so different is that:

1. it's an arcade shooter game with emphasis on planes. So it has no direct competition at all right now.

2 Even though it's arcade shooter, it's not easy. So the experienced can easily kill any inexperienced. This is very important, because it made everyone being able to play the game, yet still develop a hardcore following because the hardcore ones can kill the noob so easily.

I'm looking forward to warhawk 2.
