PS3 SLIM - everything converted to LPCM?

Are all PS3 games audiotracks converted to LPCM 2.0, 5.1, or 7.1? It seems as though my receiver is producing PCM Multchannel whenever I play any game on the PS3. Can anyone tell me a little bit about what the deal is, if any?

if you use HDMI cable you are getting the full audio from the game/bluray.

but i found out the answer anyway

it seems as though it is converted to 48khz 7.1 LPCM, even ps2 games are converted to that

i just want to know if its native
