not going to happen ,. ps3 has 8 cores. a cell processor a hard drive and various other things that make that impossible ,,
also will over heat alot , and would be a waste to us 60 gb owners who have bc , and some of us with 20 and 80 gigs which are or were bc at the time, as any further ps products will no longer have bc with ps1 and ps2 games
Sony has already released too many versions of the PS3 and it is not even in its third year. Even if they had one designed it would not come for a very long time.

just because it has 8 cores doesnt mean its massive, its actually quite small, smaller than an intel quad-core... infact, the cell has SPEs rather than cores.
