PS3 to get "gears of war" like IP exclusive from epic!!!

Honestly, those who are super hyped about a Gears game should really play the 360 one. It's fun for all of 2 days then you're ready to move on. If the PS3 does in fact get something from the Gears Universe, I pray it has way more depth, story, and gameplay than the first.emitsu97

So true! And the game setup screen is tough to navigate to start a game and the grenade throwing is horrible.

Gears universe is an interesting one, moreso because in gears of war they said NOTHING about the plot apart from 'Locusts have attacked us from below. oh noes'

So this one should make a great suppliment to the gears of war trilogy.

The second i tell you that MGS4 is using that grenade system (It acctually is) im sure you will think its amazing all of a sudden

Halo, Halo 2, probably Halo 3 down theroad,World In Conflict, and Gears Of War (which is going to look even better on PC then 360) all go to PC...

and No PS3 exclusive goesPC...

What's the point of buying a 360 when all their good exclusives go PC???

QFT, If it wasnt because I had some friends and that itwas summer here I wouldnt have played it more than one playtrough maybe 2. Online is full of kiddies too as in 99% of the other games which is really bothersome so I quitted online.

They stated that the game would be "like" Gears of War but not in the Gears of War universe...Meaning It could be a shooter very very similar to Gears of War but also different enough for them to be able to publish it on the PS3...

No one here said we were getting Gears...and really I had my 6 hours of fun I dont want it again, but we might get something similar too and I wouldnt mind that at all.

Already own Gears Of War, no need for me to purchase it again but on a different console. That is unless I go back in my days where I bought mortal kombats for the snes and genesis just to have, as well as many other titles that appeared on the two. Then again, I didn't drop a hefty 60 dollars on each game lol.

What about taking into consideration that Silicone Knights are suing Epic? Is this going to have any major affect? Maybe I'm just spouting rubbish.

Nonetheless, I had my fun. But something with a bit more storyline, more deepth and great replay value will persuade me to purchase another Epic game. Gears was fun, but too short and pretty easy. The online is sweet, except for the fact that their are 11 year olds playing the darn game, and way past their bedtimes at that lol.

Yeah its just a question of will Vista allow gamers to actually enjoy the experience...but seeing how thats not relevant to the PS3 I wont get into my issues with Vista...

Either Way I welcome any title exclusive or not. Especially when it comes from the guys at Epic.
