PS3 when will the price go down?

When will the PS3 go on sale this year?.

I'm asking cause i'm planning on buying a PS3 soon but would like to get it when it's on sale.

Does anyone know?, how much will the price drop?, and when will it go on sale this year?.

They usually happen at the end of the year, if they happen at all.

The PS3 has had the most price drops of any other console this gen, and considering you get a HIGH QUALITY Blu-Ray player, an amazing game library on PSN and Retail, upscaling DVD player, a PSOne BC player...it's already a hell of a value.

^^^^Blu ray players are down to $60 in stores. Can be found cheaper online. Yes, it adds value to the PS3 but not as anywhere near it did in 2006.

^^^^DVD players are down to $20 in stores. Can be found cheaper online. Yes, it adds value to the other consoles (PS2, Xbox, 360) but not as anywhere near it did in 2000.

It might come down after the ps4 is released.

How are you confused?There isn't that many comments to read through...

No one confirmed the PS3 is getting a price drop, and in fact the opposite was posted as a link was delivered to you that Sony said, "no Price drop"

Sony has no plans for PS3 price cut (One they aren't willing to share at this time at least).

You didn't "hear" anything concrete about the PS3 getting a price reduction.
