PS3 won't display video

Hey guys, I just turned on my ps3 today and found that the TV was not picking up any signal from the machine. Is there any tips you guys can give me for troubleshooting it. I already know of the holding down the power button to reset the display settings. If you know anything else it would be greatly appreciated.

Nothing I can think of from the perspective of the PS3, but you should try some of the obvious physical stuff, like trying different cables or different ports on your TV, try plugging the PS3 into a different TV, etc. It sounds like something may actually be broke if the reset didn't work. Now you just need to find out what it is. (TV, port on TV, PS3, cables, etc.)

Sometimes it's certain T.V's my buddy's PS3 won't show video on his regular 20'' T.V. but works fine on his 30" so it's weird.
