just looking for some troubleshooting here, a coke was spilled on my PS3 (thx big bro) and i'm not sure as to the extent of

soda that actually got into the ps3. i dried the exterior, and let the system dry for a day. it turned on for the first time

yesterday and i played with no proble, but when i tried to turn it back on that night it doesnt react to the switch, as if

there was no power getting to it (no little light). i let it sit another day and it isnt working this morning. the one thing i have noticed is the

AV output cable seems to take a significant more amount of force to take out of the back of the ps3 (maybe just from the

sticky soda. anyways the warranty is expired, so does anybody have any suggestions or knowledge of such issues.

thx everyone.

Thats unlucky. First you should make completely sure that all the cables are connected to a power source, and then if that is no good, just call up sony.

The main problem isnt the liquid its self, its the sugar.

You will have to have Sony replace it, have your brother pay for the repair.
