This is one of those cases where you shouldn't believe everything you hear/read. I'm sure they're working on specs for the next iteration but they're purely in the planning stages.
my guess is they wont use the word "playstation" after this....and also thats how i felt about ps3...i bought ps2 on day one and when ps3 was released iz like "yo, im not buying this crap it will never stop, i still want more ps2", but eventually i bought the ps3 anyways because i dont know i barely played ps2...

Misunderstandings of the Ten year lifespan FTL.... Playstation 2 is a perfect example of teh ten year lifespan. Didnt stop the PS3 from Launching in only 5 years. Expect the same to ring true with the PS4.
