So yeah. Looks like my PS4 is dead. For the last few weeks i've been getting random safe mode restarts. I power it off and restore it to default settings and it usually last a few days, but then back to square one.

Is it worth doing a fully system erase or should i just send out for a new one? If it's already doing this less than a year after i bought it, seems like i've got a dude on my hands.

Anyone any experience with this?

I didn't see something like it before really, but,it seems that you have an system issue, try to restore the Ps4,or try downloading the new update or go to a shop which solves PS issues, maybe you just need a system fixing only,i heard that there is a system file which you download from Sony website which fix your Ps4, good luck, which you the best :)

I never had that issue. You should call Sony.

Maybe someone spilled liquid into your machine or dropped it when you weren't around.

do you have power outages in your area, that might be a reason... other than that maybe the hdd is malfunctioning, i game on my system heavily since release and never encountered such a problem...
