PSone Classics You would like on PSN

Final Fantasy VIII and IX

Just curious, is it really Sony that decides which games are published, or the publishers ask for Sony to support a certain game?

As I understand it, Sony must license any title it wants to release as a digital download separatefrom any current physical (UMD copy) or past licensing agreement. So in other words if Sony wants to release "Treasures of the Deep" they will need to go to Namco and re-work (aka "throw money at") their license.

I can't believe that game got a 5.5 on this website, by the way... it was much, MUCH cooler than that and I had a blast. It was one of the first games to really make me feel edgy and worried about what was going to emerge from the shadows of the ocean... really good game about diving on ship wrecks and stuff.

(Please oh PLEASE release it Thursday, PLEEEEAAASE?)

I see, so that must be the reason there's so many missing games on the PS Store, and the ones that are there are mostly SCE games.

The funny thing is Gamespot's review rates it badly, yet makes most aspects of the game sound good. Sounds interesting.

I remember it very fondly... there were no glitches, gameplay problems, or anything that made the game not work... to the contrary, really. A cool game with varying mission objectives and places to dive. Like I said, the first time I saw a shark swim out of the murk, I about stained my drawers!

This is awesome news!:), can't remember how many hours I put into that game back then...

hopefully it comes out on PSN soon enough, I'm almost done with ff 7:D
