go with the 3000, its cheaper, and you dont have to deal with all the digital download stuff, which I find annoying.

You gave us absolutely nothing to work with. It's hard to recommend anything when you tell us nothing about your needs and wants from a PSP. Things like....do you own a PSP already? Are you opposed to digital copies? Have you held a PSP previously, and if so, did you find it comfortable? Do you plan to connect it to a TV? What games are you interested in getting? Image quality vs screen size, which is more important? There's plenty more you could tell us that would actually allow us to really help you.

I agree with that. A PSP 3000 with a 16Gb memory stick duo is the same as a PSP Go, plus it has a UMD drive. UMD games are cheaper than PSN games and there's more of them. It you get the 16Gb memory stick pro duo, you can download the same games as the Go.

I held a PSP 3000 for the first time today. Do you guys have any qualms about it's construction? To me it felt like a toy. Almost empty inside. The PSP go on the other hand feels like a real piece of electronics.

In the end though if you are starting out from scratch the 3000 is probably your best bet. I just felt weird holding what seemed to be an empty piece of plastic.

This and just the fact that not all games are required to have DL as an option.

3000. They're basically the same, but the 3000 will give you better controls and a wider selection of games. I'd say 2000, really, but hey. Your call.

Ask yourself this. Do you like playing games or do you like giving money away? Any smart human being can find a 3000 with a 16gig memory stick for 200$ easy. I'll say if you have small hands, and I mean REALLY small, maybe the go wouldn't be so bad for you.

Since the majority of new psp games don't just automaticcaly go on the psn store, why get the go?

If you have a 1000 or a 2000,or care for size and weight too much - get a Go. If you dont - get a 3000

Its as simple as that

Im sticking with my 1004 tho

I'm getting a 3000. I mean, the PSP go is a cool idea and all but I just don't like how the buttons and stuff are. Looks uncomfortable to me. Not to mention how much it costs. So yea, I'd say 3000.
