Well, if you plan on buying used games or ever trading anything in, then the Go is useless. I'd go with the 3000.

Yeah I was going to do that, but then I realized if i got the GO, it would cut down the option of buying used games.

it depends if you want to pay more for the extra features ( bluetooth, lighter, smaller, 16Gigs of memory ), AND if you want to go 100% digital with the Go.

or

get a 3000, and find hard copy games for a cheaper price ( Amazon, ebay, half.com, etc ), and also the handheld for less money.

If you have no problems with buying PSP games online, get the Go!

But if you prefer to buy hard copies, the 3000 is the answer.

I would say get the new PSP GO! But next year they will bring out a bigger and better version soo its all up to how you feel about the new PSP GO! As against the 3000.

Welll vist the PSP Go Sticky. In there will show you everything. They are making a UMD transfer systme currently and you do't have to carry UMDs with you so thats good. Plus your a newcomers so I doesn't affect you as much. I say some reserch on the Go. If you decide you like it get that. The main diffrence between the 2 is that 3000 is hard copies, go is digital download.

There is a huge stickied thread on this, keep the discussion there. Plus you'll find that countless people have already asked that same exact question within the thread so you can see the responses there.

I just updgraded my 2000 to a new 3000. I have no plans on getting the GO yet... what's the point? I can pass on the blootooth, and why pay more for something that takes away functionality and makes it a chore to transfer everything you already own?

Cerally.

It's getting kind of annoying, the PSP forums have just been littered with threads that are repeated like 3 times a day that should really be in the stickied thread.
