PSP Vita release date?

Hello, I've heard that sony said it will only release in one territory this holiday season, and before March 2012 in others. Is anyone considering getting an imported one, bc they are going to be region free. The last import system I got was an artic GBA. Would sony miss out on the holiday rush in the U.S.? What do you think?

I've heard that it will definitely release in Japan later this year. If it does release in NA it would be very late in the year and would likely be released next year. Sony will let us know.

There is a very low chance it'll release in Japan this year. The earthquake really messed with their production in that region. I'd say they'll get it out in the US for the holiday season so they have a chance of actually competing with Nintendo outside of Japan this gen.

I hope soon as possible...but the only thing i'm pretty sure is that i'm gonna buy itin my local store; i don'twanna loose warranty.

I'm pretty sure I remember watching E3 and hearing them say it would release during this years holiday season, or something like that:?

i hope it's next year so i can save up money

I hope it's next year as well, as I also need to squeeze together the money needed to buy it.

I heard it may get delayed but i hope its out for christmas, I think they will try their hardest to get it out for then to get the best of the market. I've pre-ordered mine and put the depsoit down for my chrsitmas present off of my fiancee, if its not out for christmas I'll just wait :?
