gps, accelerometer, and 128GB will just make it uber expensive. And why the hell whould you want to play PS2 games, just use a PS2.

This is what I want

-32 or 64GB

-2 analog sticks

-better graphics( every psp has used the same graphics chip since 2004, it is time for a change)

-OLED screen

-Full PSN support(trophies,messaging,other stuff)

-Camera

-If they make a phone version, then Verizon better be one of the companies.

-new design

No way, why would anyone want that? keep the phone functionality out of my game systems thanks. If it could make calls that would mean some monthly fee.I've already got a smartphone to give all my money too

yea l2 plus r2 would give us more options for controls. if they're making it a psp "2" they need to really crank it up a notch

i think every psp owner can agree that it's about time they add dual analog sticks and the full psp game library to the psn store.

If PSP2 gets everything Iphone has..+ PSP games(good graphic,etc)....PSP2could be the Iphone killer =).

In my opinion

A PSP2 should include:

- definately dual analogue sticks

- L2 and R2 buttons would be nice but not a neccessity

- internal memory

- full PSN support with trophies etc.

- upped internal hardware

- decent battery life

- higher resolution sceen, with improved anti-glare tech

- more support than the original PSP!!

A PSP2 should not include:

- a touch screen! (We do not want a DS rip off!)

- the ability to make phone calls, or send texts, I want a dedicated gaming handheld, not a phone!

- a flip screen, or slide screen- its just asking for something to be broken!

Just my thoughts :)

Didn't realize this thread was made before I made my own just a minute ago. I would like: -720p OLED screen same size as PSP -Graphics almost as good as PS3 -UMD Blu-Ray 9+GB -Movies on UMD -Dual analog sticks -Slide up screen like PSP Go to fit more buttons -50+GB SSD Hard Drive -Better battery life -Hgh quality sound card -Better speakers, maybe mini subwoofer -Scratch-proof screen That's all I can think of for now. All this sounds pretty expensive, but I say get the specs right the first time so they don't have to make a new model every two years.Extr33m

Mini blu ray discs already exist. They hold 7.5GB of data. It would be really nice for a mini blu ray disc drive, but unfortunately it would just be very expensive.

I just don't think we're going to see a BluRay UMD format. Perhaps a disc based format wouldn't even be necessary. After all, memory sticks can hold a lot more than 9GB of data. Wouldn't something of that sort of format be a better idea? I think so. I also think that we won't hear anything about a psp2 this year...

With the PSP dropping in sales, they should just improve what they have now.

I want the PSP2 to have a long pointy thing sticking out of it that I can use to pick my nose with.

I hope it isn't super light & doesn't feel like its made out of cheap plastic that could snap in my hands if I moved too quickly. I also hope it doesn't try to follow Nintendo & get an gimmicky stuff like dual & touch screens or 3D. Just give me a sturdy piece of hardware with some weight behind it that uses traditional controls & Sony will get my money.

I don't think putting in L2 and R2 buttons are a good thing. Do you know how big the PSP would have to be to support those extra buttons, especially if they are trigger.

Now that I think about the UMD blu-ray I think if they decide to not go with digital distribution they could use SD cards instead. They can hold more memory than a blu-ray now. SD cards means extremely fast loading, more durable, less energy consumption, and less heat. Since SD cards are so small that means you can make the hand-held smaller too most likely. An 8 GB card costs 20 dollars now and will continue to drop. If they do use digital distribution they should have a hard drive with at least 100 GB and hopefully an SSD one. Right now SSD is pretty expensive but the cost will drop.Extr33m

I'm surprised this topic is still alive and healthy.

Since it's a wish list, I'd say... make the PSP as powerful as a $1500 PC, as small as a GameBoy Advance SP, with batteries able to run at least 8550 hours without having to charge, and the best thing: free. How much the games cost is up to the 3rd party developers.
