psp.vs.ipod

Well my uncle came out for the weekend and as of now is still at my house while i am curintley in computer class. But yeah post here what you think about apple are they to expensive are they ripping you off.? Yea well i hate Apple for the fact that they accually do ripp people of i mean Microsoft is the stuff. Ok why would anyone pay 400 for an ipod video when you can just pick up a psp witch fits music, videos, pictures, games, and wireless internet.? Thats kind of stupid they ripp you of for a known fact that there computers cost thousands knowing that there mostley only best for movie making. I dont like Apple and nothing will change that its just real stupid. And there no way in **** Apple beats Microsoft. Well post here what you think about this disscusion.

ipod pwns psp in video and music due to

1.smaller then an ipod

2.had a hard drive so u can actually store alot of videos anime in my case

3.its pretty cheap now compared to a psp and a large memory stick.

 but the psp has its games and hombrew and the ipod although better isn't that good compared to other devices which do every thing it does and better.

The psp could have been nice for video cuase of its large screen but not having a hard drive or support for tv output and multiple video codec supports its not really all impressive having to convert the video to mp4 is annoying when with my zen i just drag and drop my anime no conversion involved/

I think that the PSP is a pretty crappy video player and music player in comparison to the iPod because I have both and I think that the PSP is stretching itself a bit far it should have just been a great gaming system instead of a multimedia player.

If you want a solid mp3 player then get an ipod.... if not then just get the psp for games

Theres no reason to watch movies on an Ipod.  My eyes hurt while even playing the psp so why would i want to strain myself even more. 

The psp is suppost to be a gaming machine, mp3 and mp4 playback are second which is why they dont match the quality of a top quality digital media player.  I would rather get a Personal Video Player then an Ipod.

Well. 

A PSP is now $169. An equally priced Ipod may look pretty in your pocket, but it's not gonna place videos. So the PSP wins on that front. 

As far as music, because of the low volume setting on the PSP, I tend to never use it for music (can harldy hear it on the bus or the subway). I still use an old 4 gb ipod mini for that. 

My oppinion is that if you want a good mp3 player, don't get an ipod, but get a creative player such as the Zen. They are cheaper than the ipods and beat them in every way. An ipod has better sound/more storage space...but not having to mess with itunes makes ANY other mp3 player more attractive than the ipod.TheCheat23k

I agree with u on thaught the Zen vision M pwns ipod in every way and has more features and battery life well the ipod is thinner and they have a 80G model but really who has 80G of music?

The psp is slightly good at video but the zen vision W or archos are much better
