i just have a quick question, umm im about to play mgs4, and it says it goes up to 1080p, and my tv is 720p native and goes up to 1080i. so if i want to play the game to be at its best resolution, so do i put it on 1080i or 720p? thank u all in advance.

Just play it on 720p....there isnt much difference between the two

not sure some games look better in different resolutions... u might have to test both of them out seperately... some games look better in 720p and are only upscaled to 1080i... so u might have to experiment yourself... also check how the graphics look when you are moving around because it might be better in 720p, that is saying you dont have 1080p... but for me i don't notice that much of a difference from games in the past.

1080i is more pixelated than 720p....go for that one, p is better than i

test it out for yourself... 720p is a progressive scan while 1080i is and interlaced scan, so 720p is the better bet when the screen is moving around a lot, while 1080i if your picture is still, or has less movement... but its your call i don't notice a difference

best way to go is the 720p. the progressive scan looks better than the interlaced, and there are some TVs that can make the image look better than the 1080p ones sometimes.
