Do you have to buy both versions of the same game to play on either your PS3 or PSV such as Street Fighter X Tekken or just one version from either platform? For example, if I buy the PS3 version of the game and want to play on my Vita, will it work by streaming the game on it or do I have to buy the Vita version in order to have that functionality?

I can't answer that, but I have a related question to add to yours. With the DS you can have one copy of a lot of their games and play with other people. Will we be able to do the same with the Vita. I will be getting 2 Vitas. One for me and one for my girl. I want to know if I have a copy of a game, can I play that game with my girl or will she also have to have a copy of the game. I just can't see buying two copies of every game just so me and her can play together.

That's another good question you posted. I hope Sony addresses these type of issues before the PSV launches. I think Sony might still have the game sharing feature just like the PSP had to play co-op with just one game. I'm with you, I don't won't to purchase two copies of the same game in order to play cross platform with someone.

The PSP had something called "game sharing" which would allow for doing things like sharing one disc amoung PSP owners for multi-play. There where likely other features associated with "game sharing" however, you must research that.

The Ps Vita could very well have some kind of "game sharing" software feature. Nothing has been made official, yet.

Maybe, Sony has been discrete on specific PS Vita OS features.

Well what you guys said related to what I asked seems promising. I haven't ever played a PSP, I ended up getting the DS instead. This time it is the Vita's turn for me. :P

How do you know that info because I looked everywhere on the net and couldn't find any information on it. Have you tried it at E3 or something?

If you buy the physical version, probably.

Would be cool if Sony had a Digitial deal where if you bought it digitally you could download it on both platforms.

I think Sony was a little vague on this. I think that they said something about "looking into dual-launches" to see if it was a viable option, but they aren't sure yet whether all or some games will support this.

Dual launches can work, just as long as it's cheap. Having the PS3 version along with the PSV version would at least be $70 imo.

Companies like money. Giving you two games for the price of one at launch is entirely counter-intuitive.

I would gather that the PSvita and PS3 games that are Cross compatible would be the download able titles that you download from Playstation store and install on both PS3 and PSV

Because the profit for it wont be as high if you only charge for both games for one price.
