Question to people with Warhawk (with and without any expansion packs)

If you dont buy the packs, you can never partake in matches on the new maps, or featuring the new additions right? So, do enough people have these expansion packs where theyll be used often or do you play with the default settings mostly?

If you play in a match and havent bought any packs, will you play with/against people with jetpacks and the other additions?

The first expansion isn't all that popular (Omega Dawn), but the other two expansions are played all the time. (Sort of, Tau Crater is coming out in a few hours, but it will be the most popular when it does)

The majority of the games are played in the normal servers though.

Yes you are correct that you cannot partake in matches on either Vaporfield Glacier, Omega Dawn, or the new Tau Crater which are the maps included in the exp packs. About half of the games that I join use the exp packs and they are a SUPERB addition. I couldn't imagine playing without them. While the Omega Dawn exp. pack was weak with an overly large and confusing map and a somewhat obselete plain, Incognito learned from that and the Broken Mirror exp pack was ACE with the 7 person vehicle and Vaporfield glacier was an awesome new map. To answer your question you CANNOT join a match in which you do not have the exp pack so you will not play against ppl with jetpacks unless you have the Tau Crater pack. It will not let you. I suggest you get the $15.99 pack of three that will include all three exp packs. Whew that was long! That's what she said. Hope this helps.jasong1011
