I am very interested in buying Killzone 2. I went on the Killzone website, and it says there are about 250 players total online, is this right?

250 is ridiculously low so I'd say no.

When did you go online? That's just the number of players who are in a session at the moment you are on the site. I think its also region specific. Surely not world wide. I played earlier in the afternoon and there were at least four or five rooms that were full (32 players) and a bunch of others that were only half full or less. Trust me. People are playing KZ2. There's always plenty of good matches to choose from.

Alright cool. Is it a good online experience? Have any of you played both Killzone 2 and Resistance 2 online? I play Resistance 2, and it is good online, but not the best.

Actually I don't know what that number is supposed to represent. There is a "logged in players" box that says "o" so whatever it is its probably not functioning properly. However, if you look at the total clans its over ten thousand and there are almost a thousand games being played right now. So, yeah, there's more than 250 people playing KZ2. :)

KZ2 is by far my favorite online multiplayer. It's really the only one I've played for more than a few hours. I play it every day. I love it.
