[QUOTE="Ichigo_Ban_Kai"][QUOTE="KakashiAnBu"][QUOTE="Ichigo_Ban_Kai"][QUOTE="RurouniSaiyajin"]FFT: The Lion War and Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness are both good choices but if you are new to the SRPG genre, Jeanne D'Arc might be more patient with you.

whats the diffrence between TRPG SRPG MMORPG? Uh, SRPG means Strategy Role Playing Game while MMORPG means Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. I think TRPG is similar to SRPG, as I haven't seen that term used much. Anyways, PSP owns in the SRPG department right now, so pick up any of those games. Also, try out Tales of Eternia, which is a pretty fun Action RPG.
thz but whats the diffrence in the way they play?
MMORPG-These are played online and basically play on huge servers with insane amounts of people and are usually very open-ended. You can go on quests and trade with other real people as well as NPC's. World of Warcraft is an example of an MMORPG. It seems like it would be somewhat impractical for this to be on a PSP due to the enourmous scope of them, but if somebody could get WoW on a PSP that would be amazing.
SRPG/TRPG-These endow a tacitical or strategic aspect to combat. Usually this comes in the form of the battlefied being laid out in a grid, and each character gets a certain number of moves each round to position them accordingly and such. One might have to get a character adjacent to what they want to attack to attack them, and ranged weapons like bows usually have a certain distance (# of blocks away) that they can shoot.
ok thanks,so SRPG/TRPG is like fire emblam for GBA,well ok again thz
