R2+L2 (wat caps??)

is it me, or does the playstation controllers R2+L2 buttons suck. the R2+L2 buttons feels funny, not natural. my fingers get tired real quick cus it feels like my fingers keep slipping outta place all the time, cannot keep them pressed down for long ,and i have to constantly reset my fingers just to keep it down.

what has been your experience witht the R2+L2 buttons?

I think racing games should use them for the gas and maybe break, because they will never wear down like X and square.

yup.... meaning not everyone likes them as is.... ergo my point.

I could not agree with you more! Worst decision Sony made with this controller, followed closely by not making it a Dual Shock 3 to begin with.

Some already do, and I kind of agree with TC, I like them but they're slightly too slippy. I mean this is extreme nitpicking but they should be slightly curled so theirs's a bit more grip. I don't think enough shooting games use them as triggers either, thats what they're there for, right?

Not wanting to sound like a fanboy because were just talking about controllers not consoles... but the 360 controller is a much better designed controller for FPS, why didnt Sony realize and redisgned the controller for FPS games? I mean the DS2 wasnt that great to begin with and they just went and made it even worse with horrible triggers and a cheap plastic feel. :( at least we can get DS3 soon and those real trigger things.Shrinekeeper

I don't care, I hate FPS's. I'm a 3rd person man. Dualshocks rock, the 360 controller doesn't feel right, and the buttons are all crazy. That X button confuses the hell out of me.

I'm talking about those third party things that snap on, that makes the R2 and L2 more like real triggers instead of .... whatever you want to call it.

Yea their are a few third party controllers on the way. I did have a little slip prob in the beg. But You dont have to press it so hard. Once you get used to them their actually vary comfy. The reason some have probs, is they feel their not pressing enough. But if you look at where it is all the way in, chances are you pressing plenty.

sony trired to make a more economical controller, but everyone throw a fit when they saw the boomerang. Its about time they came out with a more form fitted controller. If you have played the other system the sixais just doesn't feel right with fps games. the controller is over 14 years old. We have all grown to know and recognize the PS controller but there are much better designs that work and feel much better in your hand. I really hope sony will do a major over hall on the next PS controller.
