No but I did have live and Falo 1 and 2. And my Nephew has 3. Wanna hear a true story. I traded in Falo 2 within 2 weeks on MGS3.

No bull You can look around for yourself, I know your race games I know your shooters. I hated them. I also know everything about Micros past and pres. And that has more to do with it all.

Anybody who has been on these forums for the past year knows that the 360 outsold the PS3 by so much in North America that it took the PS3's numbers from the entire world to EQUAL the 360's numbers. Nevermind beating them.

On terrorist hunt, the damn terrorists will pop out from behind a bookcase and I'll be left thinking wth? There is no way to cover your back when playing this. They mega-flank you, and wtf is up with 400,000 XP for top rank? Hell am I getting that high. I have a life.

The game was actually fun in my opinion and online is cool if you play with the right peope.

I am really loving this game. A great sequel, and tons of fun. Plus, it looks better and is a bit smoother. Anyone who goes into Rainbow Six Vegas 2 expecting a completely different experience from the first one is delusional. Sorry, but you are.

I think that the argument that R6Vs is TOO tactical has been sufficiently blown to smithereens.

One more thing: can we please refrain from any talk about XBox vs PS3? I do believe there's an entire forum for just that topic, AND THIS AIN'T IT

It seems that every time someone says they are disappointed in RSV2, they are complaining about one of two things.

1. The on-line support sucks, which is a very understandable complaint.

2. The game is too tactical. It's this last argument that's incredibly useless because if you've heard of any Rainbow Six or Tom Clancy games in the past decade, you should know that they are based upon team tactics. If you bought the game without knowing that, you most likely just followed the hype like everyone else and I have no pity for that mistake.

im pissed about this game.

at first i was like, "oh well, i guess i can just get through it and wait until GTA comes out."

I stopped caring what you said when you said "too tactical for a shooter". That line lost you all credibility in my book.

vertical screen takes advantage of of the widescreen ratio of tvs.... horizontal would just result in two slivers.robmonga2

Enough with calling this game crap. R6V2 is a good game and once the issues with online is fixed it will become a better game, but until then I am enjoying the hell out of the single player campaign mode and terrorist hunt.

Nowadays gamers are a little unfair and nit picky about games these days. People call it crap because they can not play online but enjoy the story mode. People call it crap because they had to download a patch the day the game it was released but still enjoy the game some what. People call it crap because it is not COD4. That is why it is called Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Now you call it crap because a tactical shooter is to um.......tactical. Funny this must be your first time.

I will agree with everyone and say that their is no shooter that is out right now that compares to COD4, but it is not a perfect shooter. I think that Vegas 2 is a great game in is own right and live up to being what it is a sequel. I think that there is enough new features added to this game that makes it a part 2 but do not stray away from the original story and game play. All I am saying is if this is not your type of game, then say it is not your type of game. If your mad because you can not play online then just say online is trash because right now it is, but don't label a decent game that is fun to other trash because of your personal discrepancy.

All and all I am not trying to advise anyone to purchase this game or change their minds from returning it because honestly I don't care but don't go on about trashing a game because it is what is.

nyc05 is right. He's one of the few people that can actually make a post and make one thats correct and detailed.

On your opinion on R6V2, TC, its a tactical shooter. COD 4 is more of a "run and gun" type of game where you sprint, you see someone and then you shoot. In Vegas 2, you have to take cover get your shots accurate enough to hit the target and is mostly unpredictable until some people start camping :P. The whole point of the game is to take cover, use your teammates, use your available gadgets and weapons and get to the finish with a win. Its more a teamwork type of game where as COD 4 wants you to run out and shoot someone.

Thats my opinion.

Nyc05, I have to say, it's always good to read any of your posts. Clearly anyone who thought your post was too long does have a short attention span.

Gamers like the TC, care about running & gunning to rack up the most kills. They care about their position on the global leaderboards. Some will go far as to cheat and stat pad just so that they can feed their egos and think they are better than everyone else. R6V2 is an intimidating game for them. It's too slow for their tastes so they call it "crap." Hilarious. I have played this game a bit over the weekend and it is a good game. It forces gamers to think of ways to eliminate the enemy and not storm in somewhere spraying and praying. It's a nice change of pace from COD4 and UT3.

The online is the main issue with this game. Ubisoft needs to patch it up. I'd like to play co-op with my friends and fam without them disconnecting or failing to connect.

I do agree with you some what. That is why I do not blame anyone for taking this game back, but the TC is calling the game crap because it is too tactical. The first one is tactical so you would think that this one would be too, right? Plus if you are only geared to pay $60 dollars on a game that offer online than you should wait for the reviews and/or consumer reviews to see how the online function is. I did it for Time Shift and that was $60 saved for me. Believe me, I am mad like everyone else that I can not play online but it is still a good game with a bad online function and hopefully it is corrected once I am done with the story mode.
