HERE IT IS....we now have rainbow six vegas.....and resistance..2 killer apps for playstation 3..yes vegas is a port..but it is looking like it is the better version..so here comes the main ?....which 1 would u say is better???..i have played resistance for months..but looking at vegas i am not sure it is looking better 2 me...not to say that they r not both must own titles...what does every1 else think?

they're both awesome, and yeah i have also been playing the heck out of resistance for a while now. a just got R6V yesterday, and the first thing I noticed is that the visuals and sound are both bette, and many things are also better, too. but they are both very different games with their own distinct design, etc. so u cant really compare them. but honestly i think i am liking Vegas better. it is a pretty amazing games.
Let me start off by saying stupid comparison lol. The only similarities are that your in first person view and you use guns. Tactical shooting and Sci Fi/fantasy shooters are two completely different genres. It would make much more sense to compare Resistance with something like Halo.
Back on topic these games are equally good in there own respect. They both do a great job of achieving there goal. Personally im for R6V cause I like themore realistic tactical shooters, but thats not to say Resistance isnt as good or better. From a gameplay standpoint they couldnt be any more different within the realm of shooters, but they both do equally good at what they strive for.

R6:Vegas on Realistic has far better AI than Resistance.
Have u played resistance on superhuman? best AI ive seen. a single hybrid in superhuman could beat an average player in multiplayer mode if it would be a bot.
Other than both being labled 1st person shooters, they are very different games. I love them both. Resistance is great, multi player is awesome! 40 players no lag!!
Vegas is more tactical, and you have your buddies most of the time to point around and to send into danger.
just got r6v yesterday and been playing it for hours now. it is a great game. i havent had this much fun in a game since RFOM came out. i have only played online just a bit but i must say i think RFOM might have the edge there. im just glad that ubisoft finally came out with a good port and the wait even though it was freaking long. it was worth the wait.

ya..its F ing hard......and they even dodge granades on normal mode lol
I take Resistance over R6V seeing as the R6V online is atrocious, many of the animations are choppy and a little ugly, and the shooting mechanics are godawful. This is most apparent online, where Counter Strike slaughters it in sheer playability.
