Regarding Ratchet and Clank...

I've never played a game in the series, and am intrigued by the upcoming game for PS3.  Since we now can upscale old PS2 games, I was thinking  about picking up a R&C title, but could use your recommendation for where to begin... there seem to be several to choose from, and I was curious to know which title you felt was the best.  Thanks...

My favorites go in this order:

1. Going Commando

2. Deadlocked

3. Up Your Arsenal

4. R&C

ALL are great games and I recommend you pick up every one, but if your budget is running low, buy GC and see how you like the series first. 

yes pick up the original R&C then get R&C Going Commando. you dont really need to get the other ones but these two are the best i the series
