yeah man thats what i thought, when i played golden eye back in the day, i was like this is amazing! haha, now looking back at it...wowbihballerGoldenEyes graphics actually were pretty damn good for it's time, I would even say it could have passed off as a first gen PS2 game.
Ahhhh the good ole days of PS1. I remember playing Driver 2 and thinking that it look so real, but now I look back and it looks like crap, but it was still a fun game.skyline_racer1
LOL, I remember driver 2, Oh man I used think that game was one of the best looking games ever made, and yeah your right, when we look back at it, the graphics are horrible lol
the PS1 is what really kicked off my gaming hobby/habit/problem. I had no idea about the ps1 at all, didn't know what it was, didn't know when it was going to be released but then a friend of mine got one with wipeout 2097 and tekken 2. I remember being so amazed i just HAD to have one and luckily my birthday had just been so i went out and bought one in about 4 hours of first seeing one. I've never looked back since.
I can't remember how old I was, must have been somewhere around 9 to 11 i guess. The ps1 is a massive nostalgia point for me. I really miss those care-free days of coming home from school and just playing, nothing to worry about, just games.
FFVII introduced me to RPG games, tekken to fighting games, coolboarders to snowboarding games, gran turismo to racing games and doom to fps games. What an excellent console.
Needless to say i got a ps2 on launch day and have been thoroughly enjoying it for many years now. I have my ps3 on pre-order ready for launch day all paid up and i can't wait.
I'm currently at university and am coming to the end of my education, i'm going to miss all this free gaming time. Come on PS3, finish my massive ammounts of free-time gaming with a bang!
I still have my ps1 games and even tho they look like crap i can still play them and have a great time. Looking back at how far game visuals have come i can't wait to see where the future of games will take me.
So many memories. I remember playing Killer Instinct on my super Nintendo when I lived in Cuba. I also remember staying up nights just trying to become a master with Jago. Now I think back and feel glad to have experience the first games that helped get to where we are now with video game technology.
i would def like to see a remake of crash bandicoot or even ape escape....btw that game was beast
ape escape was the **** lol

Driver 2 was one of my favorite games as well. The graphics were amazing, and it was so fun. I could never beat the story though. I remember there was a mission where you jumped a car off a dock onto a moving boat. Man, that game was awesome. Too bad they totally screwed up the Driver franchise.[QUOTE="bihballer"][QUOTE="skyline_racer1"]Ahhhh the good ole days of PS1. I remember when I got my ps1 on release day I was so excited and thinking how sick the graphics were and stuff like that. It's just hard to believe were in the generation of HD gaming already, crazy isnt it? Seems just like yesterday we were wondering what a ps2 would be like. bihballer
I'm 30, so I remember my older brother playing Combat on the Atari and BurgerTime on the old Coleco and thinking that was the coolest. Then when I played Mike Tyson's Punch Out and Zelda on the NES, thought it couldn't get any better. I remember the good ol days of playing Street Fighter 2 on the Super Nintendo. I actually sold my comic book collection to get the SNES. My mother said I'd regret doing that one day and alas she's right. N64 was state of the art when I was in college. We played Golden Eye, BattleTanx, and nWo versus WCW, till the wee hours of morning while pounding beers. Then after graduating I thought I was done with gaming. That's until I played GTA III. That game alone caused me to buy a PS2. 30+ PS games later and buying the PS3 was a no-brainer. I love COD3, and have gotten addicted to Fight Night Round 3. Even got into debt buying a new HDTV to get the maximum graphics out of it. I so far love my PS3 :)bigpatvoodoodadIM 30 TOO. you just pritty much just sum my life except for instead of brother it was me.

I wasnt really into gaming that time yet, my favorite game was Crash Bandicoot and i said to myself that that was the best game and couldnt get any better, as for driver the gameplay and graphics was great, especially the open world, the free roam, thats what got me interested in GTA. I still remember watching my friend playing GTAIII i was so impressed with the graphics and gameplay but i didnt have a ps2, i made some hours of research to see if the game was on pc, i found the game ans started to become a pc gamer but as time went by my pc got old and had to upgrade it to get full game graphics and i founf this pretty anoying so i deciced to return to te old me enjoying console gaming, and i finally bought a ps2 :D, im still saving for the ps3:D
the funny part is, looking back i don't remember any of the graphics looking as bad as they actually are lol in my memory they were all great graphics-SLUG-I totally agree with you on that, the other day i plugged in my n64 to play goldeneye and i was like what happened to my system i dont remember the graphics being this bad lol
