I was playing around my PS3, decided to try out that Remote Play with my PSP. Honestly, I find it cool how i can now listen to all 400-odd songs that i stored in my ps3, right out of my PSP. I'll go to my front porch, to bed room, to my computer listening music all day.

 Topic:

-Do you use Remote play often? If so, what's your opinion on it?

How did you guys enable remote play?  Every time I try it scans my wireless network then it says "the connection has timed out."  I've already enabled atrac.

Did you register the PSP with the PS3? If not go to Settings>Remote Play Settings> Register Device. You'll have to connect the PSP to the PS3 with a USB cable, just use the one that came with the PS3 controller. Remote Play is really awesome, It's pretty neat that you can see the PS3 XMB on your PSP screen and send your friends messages.

Its a program i guess thats the word for it....That allows the owner of a PSP/PS3 to access all the stuff thats stored on the PS3 to show up on the PSP. Example you have to use the rest room but you want to listen to your favorite song thats on your PS3 just use remote ply and play the song on your PSP and you could use th PS3 internet browser on the PSP using the same thing

Basically, you can access your PS3's XMB on your PSP and play the music or videos on the HDD. You can also message anyone on your friends list. It'll be really useful when Sony makes it so you can do it anywhere!

I've already registered my PSP with my PS3.  I'm starting to think it has something to do with my wireless router.

I'm hoping the expand this.  Maybe I know playing games is out of the question but it would be nice to check on your downloads. etc. from the other room
